Essential reading

At an election
-some say proportional representation may be a better system

-Need to vote not only for a party MP

-but, as in the USA, vote on
-education
-Academies or Council control
-NHS public or private
-Social Care-new tax beginning at age 40, same % for every taxpayer, say 2%
-Support or deny Israel
-Privatise or public nationalise
-rail
-gas
-electric
-Health etc
-Tax oil high
-Reduce balance of payments etc etc
-ban MP second jobs
-ban MPs donations from private health...

This Tory government, egged on by Labour, have hatched a cunning plan:
-force through secretly a plan to flood the NHS with 22,000 PAs, 2000 AAs
-to fool the public, dilute the real doctors in the BMA, bunged the GMC to register them, but not regulate,
-to refuse any path to Full pay restoration,
-undermine and shaft GPs by limiting funding to a sub inflation 2%, overwork, long hours, prolong the shortage of GPs by an ARRS fund ban on additional GP recruitment
-introduce rapid treatment hubs-staffed by unsupervised PAs
-force dissatisfaction in front line workers by pay reduction, PAs, outsourcing, privatisation, management bullying and gagging

Sunak’s whole plan is to destroy the NHS and Social Care by underfunding, forcing people to US style private profiteer health insurance at huge cost
-with get outs, co payments, add-ons, rising subscriptions, limited cover
-many different levels of menu treatment items covered, (you don’t find out until you need treatment cover…)

Social Care will not initially be covered, very few frontline staff will remain in this sector due to immigration limitations, family, dependents...

Private profiteering operators based in tax havens will run the system…

The UK cannot afford to loose the NHS…
The economy will tank even more than Truss!!!

Labour must be convinced by the electorate, not by bribes from the private profiteers!

Essential slides-please view!

Multiple options to preserve the NHS:

Stop purchaser provider-which takes 15% of NHS budget, coders, solicitors, accountants...
Tax oil
Tax Google, Amazon et al
Collect avoided, uncollected taxes
Ban overseas tax havens
Recover PPE monies- Mone
Recover Di do’s no test, no trace £37 billion

Every person waiting for NHS treatment means poorer economic performance.
Every patient restored to comfortable health- knees, hips, cataracts, means better economic performance

Mental health care for adults is dismal- depression, anxiety means poor economy
Children and Adolescent CAMH Services mean children off school, not learning
Help for parents with autism, ADHD is totally absent
Child mental health is privatised, outsourced, beds few, and miles away..

Invest in health, social care to clear blocked beds- better economy

Discharge pods, staffed, while patients get care plans, Social Care, eases discharge, frees beds

More A&E admission beds: eases ambulance drop off, saves lives…

Reopen the 5000 beds closed by spacing for covid!

Invest in NHS-based, NHS-staffed diagnostics: scanners, CAT, MRI and train radiographers to read them!

Raise spend on health to equal Europe- as Tony Blair did: best performance

Train, retain all doctors- full pay restoration,

Increase training places for all GPs, ban ARRS fund limit on GPs, kill off PAs, AAs- stupid Tory government plan to dilute real doctors and fool the public by bungs to GMC and Royal Colleges… £8 million???

GP partners hold the whole NHS together

A 2% funding rise, coupled with Agenda for change staff pay rises of 6%, and medical inflation 10-15% results in GP income falling…

Kaiser Permanente strategy of dumping more and more unpaid duties on GPs to keep patients out of expensive hospitals results in anger, depression, burnout, anxiety about being struck off

Expected to, but not agreeing to,supervise PAs, suicide, abuse, alcoholism

read "Why can’t I see my GP" Ellen Welch Amazon, Kindle

Every hour that Treasury and Sunak refuse full pay restoration, and promote youth opportunity duff PAs results in anger, go slows (for more accurate diagnosis and effective treatment) as Frontline workers mull over their 35% fall in real income, compared with duff MPs who award themselves the highest above inflation real pay rises

Sunak is reputed to lead a cabal in cabinet against the NHS

How on earth can a Cabinet full of millionaire MPs have any clue about needing thwe NHS for healthcare: they all have private GPs, private health cover at the Cleveland!!!

Obviously, everyone would like no taxes, but in a civilised fifth world country like the UK, most want public services to be provided at low cost, for the public good,
-the NHS, Social care to those who need it,

Water, electric, gas, oil, petrol, rail should be run efficiently, publicly owned, without vast dividend payouts, huge debt, huge CEO salaries and shareholder payouts

Norway, Iceland, tax oil highly, and have a +very balance of payments and no debt…

Every NHS service, every SC provision outsourced to profiteer privatised companies is
-Less effective
-More expensive,
-Reduces NHS investment
-Allows these providers to lobby and write the rules- e.g. care homes

People who have saved out of taxed income should not have to pay for Care Homes

Every tax payer should be paying ring-fenced NHS and Social Care tax x%- not paying less tax the richer you are: the poorer paying much less…

Politicians who line their own pockets through taxpayer’s money being funnelled through chums and VIP lanes should be penalised

Highly paid second, third jobs should be not allowed.

NHS frontline workers should get free designated car parking, subsidised food and drink 24 hours- just as MPs do!

US style private health insurance

Many different levels of cover exist-each with a different menu of cover, with exclusions, top ups, co payments, insurers arguing no payment, appeals, court cases.

High level cover-only available to gold company hi end employees, might cover husband, wife, children, pregnancy, maternity, dental, ambulance, cancer treatment, all in one policy
BUPA confirm they cannot offer this.

BUPA

-withheld £91, (I pay £7200 a year!) saying "this benefit is not available" -despite having paid for same injection a few months earlier.
-withheld part surgeons fees for my hip replacement with excellent surgeon
-withheld part of fees for my excellent opthalmic surgeon after cataract clean up
-ceased paying for depression treatment… My excellent consultant continued checkups for free...

All private hospitals and ISTCs should have two ambulances, priority entry into NHS ICUs, and their own staffed ICU, with all night senior, alert cover on site-not one JD working 150 hours back to back...

Clarification of position:

Most people admire very skilled, successful surgeons.

I was very fortunate in finding the best local cataract surgeon, the best orthopeadic hip surgeon, the best hand surgeon

After years striving for best standards trained by the NHS, withstanding all the deprivations caused by, and despite government, managers, NHSE, DHSS, most would have no problem with such excellent surgeons working privately

Most would love treatment at The Cleveland, for example (Consultation £650, or birth at a top London hospital, privately, if of the best standard,
but
-they take whole teams from the NHS
-reducing capacity and investment in the NHS, destabilising and closing units
-taking taxpayers money from the NHS, used by private chains to improve premises and profit
-ISTCs and private chains tend to have poorer results
-have no icus, no proper senior cover at night
-negotiate higher fees, pay CEOs, shareholders...
-No ambulances of their own, no paramedics, no priority at A&E
-Cost more
-Shed complications onto the NHS

Similarly, private dentists
-can take more time and care
-can use far better materials, tecniques
-invest in far better premises, sugeries, IT systems, patient amenitiers like overhead TV, intra oral cameras, explanatory videos

rather than NHS dentists (are there any left?)
-
hamstrung by low fees
-
a capped UDA system
-
resticted tecniques, materials, high laboratory expenses
-unlimited demand caused by years of government and supine BDA inaction.

Please read "Why can't I see my GP, Dr Ellen Welch BRILLIANT Amazon, Kindle

-any wonder the Tories have so decimated our NHS... without any mandate whatsoever!

Michael Gove was a remainer. After £100,000, he became a Brexit supporter!

It seems so easy to buy votes in the Commons...

MPs with private health connections-

A little bung gets the GMC onside, the RCP onside with PAs, AAs...

The government, Treasury, have already warned the "NEW, REFORMED, INDEPENDENT DDRBody NOT TO EXCEED 2%:

HARDLY INDEPENDENT! MORE STRIKES, MORE GOING PRIVATE.

A centre sensible strategy-

-No tax cuts
-Full pay restoration for Consultants, JDs, nurses, midwives, radiologists
-Pay reduction for MPs, Cabinet Ministers
-New DDRB: no Treasury input at all-even privately
-No privatisation of NHS
-No outsourcing
-No PAs no AAs
-More training places
-No Rwanda-an unworkable, batshit crazy nasty Tory plot
-Visas assessed and given in France-no visa, returned same week
-Ban Gambling ads
-Nationalise electric gas
-Nationalise rail
-Nationalise gas gas

Sunak decrees-
“we” do not want an election
“Rwanda is the will of the people”
“we” do not want Di do’s (No)Test and (No)Trace £37 billion traced and returned
“we” do not want Mone’s PPE scam returned

All governments Tory and Labour will promote and fund PAs, AAs, but not FPR for frontline experienced staff…

Let foreign countries-China-own water companies and pour shit into the rivers
Let water, gas, oil, electric, rail privatised companies charge standing charges, take huge salaries and huge payouts to shareholders
Regan and Thatcher started the ”sod the poor” policies
Thatcher wanted to end the NHS, end NHS opticians and dentistry, Social care and change to US style private health insurance
US bankruptcies a year…

Sunak, Hunt, Letwin, Redwood want to flood the NHS with two year quack PAs, AAs, pretending to be real doctors
Bungs to GMC 800k-2million
RCP ???

Cut real term funding to GPs, block training places, cut medical school intake-to drive experienced frontline staff out-ready for privatisation.

Any investor wants return-reduce headcount, reduce costs, drive out higher paid staff, replace with newbies…

Under fund, decry, criticise, drive out into hand back contracts, close GP health centres, privatise.

All the time, DHSS bleats-
-we are devoting record funding
-worst cuts EVER
-we have given x thousand to…
-more needs to be done
-we are devoted to better care of x.y,z,,…

GPs in grave peril
Maternity unsafe
A& E in grave peril
Admit into A & E-more discharge pods and staff to free up beds
More beds
More JDs, Consultants
Ambulance overstretch, more ambulances, more ambulance staff

INVEST IN NHS-More workers able to work, economy improves. Actually MAKE things, not all “services”

Tax everyone at x% of income-rich pay more, no special perks for rich

Believe NO MANIFESTOES-every hope, bribe and promise can be regressed after election
eg
-Brexit promises
-NHS safe in our hands, no reorganisation Cameron
Blair -kept purchaser provider so any cowboy outfit can provide. Milburn AnyunQualified Provider
Hutton-more PFI rip-offs
No new hospitals-QE Kings Lynn held up by Acrow props

Ban smoking-Treasury need the tax
Ban gambling- Treasury need the tax…

End Purchaser Provider
End tax havens,Free ports, SEZs
Tax Google, Amazon, Starbucks fairly
Stop evasion
Stop fraud
Recover furlough -should be paid as Social Security…

Centre sensible government for the NHS NO CHANCE, NO HOPE!!!

-Communicate, liase and ask frontline staff for ideas, especially GPs and JDs: they are not "the enemy"
-Treat as allies, not enemies
-Praise doctors for their miracles
-Train, recruit, retain
-Full pay Pay restoration
-Reimburse individual health centre partnership expenses- electric, gas, rates, staff
-So a GP partner receives full pay, not the diminished residual

With prudent surplus of GPs, they can work miracles
Core hours 9-5?! Seven days week if enough GPs!
Do not force digital telephony unless reimbursed...
More time for each patient, same namewd GP...

GPs are the bedrock of the NHS
Pay well
Stop criticising, treat as expert allies guiding thick politicians
Restore duty of Secretary of State Health to provide a comprehensive NHS,...
Stop privatisation of GP practices-Virgin etc Centene
Fund health centres well

Stop PAs, AAs,
Stop practice closures
Stop waste of GPs leaving country, retiring early, burnout
Better mental care for GPs, fewer suicides, drink, abuse...

Better Social Care, Discharge pods, staffed-frees up real beds

Reopen closed beds...
Stop Kaiser Permanente model pushing more care onto GPs

Your GP Health Centre Receptionists

Please, please: Do not get ratty or abusive to these hard working frontline staff...

Say "You are doing a cracking job, despite the government"

They cannot magic more appointments out of an overworked, underfunded (2% this year, imposed:inflation and staff pay >6%...) poorly paid GP-who often works 7-7pm hours, and often on their days off...

NHS dentistry

I saw a security man at Stansted: front teeth decayed down to stumps, covered in food, probably so sensitive he could not brush.

There are two dental solutions

Six+ extractions( £40 each, privately

Six root treatments, perio/ ohi, six post crowns

Or just leave them as they are- ugly, painful, non aesthetic Any dentist wants to crown and restore The Bancrupt NHS wants extractions and, maybe, a plastic dentures.. A-£480 B- £2400 plus £4800 at least…

The old vocational NHS dentist could provide these-at a loss,(bonded crown £41) but the NHS wanted us to be average (they sent monthly comparators of us v average...)- or get thrown out for spending too mnuch "continued inclusion in the NHS would be detrimental to efficiency" efficiency- At a Tribunal hearing- if appeal and lose, no NHS pension… Should be unlawful under the Geneva Convention of War!!!
